WIDOW'S HOPE

Several times a year the widows come together for a time of growing in Christ and sharing God's faithfulness. It is a time of fellowship, encouragement, and support for the widows in our church. Special programs, day trips, and dinners are scheduled throughout the year. These ladies also participate in community service projects, such as Discovery and donating to the church food pantry.

CANCER SUPPORT

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. -1 Corinthians 1:3-4

The Cancer Support Ministry is composed of cancer survivors, caregivers and supporters who seek to share Scripture, Prayers and Encouragement with those coping with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

If you or a family member have been diagnosed with cancer, we would love to know so we can pray for you and offer support. If you contact us, we will send you a package containing resources to help you during this time. And if you would like, we will put you in contact with a member of our Cancer Support Ministry leadership to walk along side you during this difficult time. Family names and medical information will be held in strict confidence. This information will be used by the committee and volunteers to minister to the family. At no time will anyone discuss medical options or procedures.

If you wish to remain anonymous, please feel free at any time to contact Central's 24 Hour Prayer Room, 979-776-PRAY.
